Gold painting pen - black paper 300gm - 65 x 50 cm - FRANCE - February 2016

Born while listening to classical music, « Nomenclature » is a blueprint of lines that embody the burst of sounds. The drawing’s organization looks like a technical drawing, both fluid and orderly at the same time.

Like baroque, classical or romantic music, the artwork’s structure follows different rhythms, from adagio to crescendo, even up to presto agitato. The simple phrasings and tempestuous chords are harmoniously entangled in a lyrical whirl.

"Everyone knows what an emotion is, until asked to give a definition"

- B. FEHR & J.A. RUSSEL

The work realized here is the attempt of description of the human basics emotions by drawing line by line. The used technique could be similar to the seismograph. The Artwork presented here tries to show the evolution of the feelings in a limited duration. Given the size of the work, it is possible to think that there is a logical sense of reading of the work, with the beginning and the end. The purpose this graphic experiment is not to rationalize the feelings, but to give a new approach of definition. It is also under heard a work of introspection.

This piece deals with the string theory and the various dimensions which presents the universe. The Artwork congealed in 2D tries to explore various depths. In the string theory, a vast, dynamic object, possessing an energy in the form of tension on its volume of universe is called a Brane. The word " Brane " is a phonetic modification of the word "Membrane".

In a Universe with additional dimensions, as the string theory requires, the M theory of Einstein is an extension, we fall naturally on the image of two Universes in the shape of membrane to three spatial dimensions(size), thus flat geometry, floating in Multivers of probably infinite dimension(size) with 4 macroscopic spatial dimensions at least. The Big Bang would be only the result of the collision between these two Universes-membranes, which we would live in one of them. The nature of the M theory would thus involve a flat geometry for the Universe. Ekpyrotic Cosmology.

In Greek, cataclysm is called " ekpyrosis " and within the framework of the Stoic philosophy, the Universe begins with a fire which ignites, which is the name given by the authors of this theory. Further to the collision, the kinetic energy of both Universes, initially empty and cold, is converted on one hand in a plasma of particles, that of the theory of Big Bang, and on the other hand expanding of the space of each of the Universes. We thus fall again on the standard model.

TH FLOW

Engraving in Gold paper (400gm) 65x50 cm - FRANCE - April2015

" It is Mihály Csíkszentmihályi, a Hungarian psychologist, who finalized the concept of Flow according to which being in a state of total concentration or complete absorption in an activity is the key of happiness. According to him, it is an experience which characterizes the

high-level sport. This state in which an athlete or an artist is completely committed in the activity is such a unique and intense moment when by reaching it for the first time, the Flow becomes a pure source of intrinsic motivation.

In the Flow, the feelings are not just contained but also positive, stimulated and aligned with the executed task. The Flow is a feeling of spontaneous enjoyment, felt by executing a task although it is also described as a profound feeling only focus on the activity and not on the feelings. "
